Exploring Topics Summary
This unit allowed me to really understand the helpfulness of deep web researching. To finally notice the completely condensed and organized information that deep web resources have to offer has me kicking myself for not using it more in my life. I always resorted to the easy Google searches and occasional Wikipedia searches when i was completely stuck. No longer shall i resort to browsing the cheap unofficial websites that Google's crawlers (a new term i learned also) have discovered. I shall spend at least 75-80% of my time searching in the deep web encyclopedias that are completely focused to providing the exact information needed, rather than random quips and parcels of info that Google and Wikipedia offer.

Hi, Evan:
ReplyDeleteAll praise the deep web. It's an amazing thing to be aware of, the resources and databases available through the Clark library are designed to help students find the articles and sources they need for academic success. GVRL is a great place to learn about a topic and decide what is most interesting to you. We will look at more deep web sources that are great to be aware of.
Thank you for your thoughtful response,
Andrea
